I've achieved destroying all the asteroids before the Rift appears. The comms operator tells "And thus, the asteroid menace is over... for now" but the achievement doesn't pop. It is it bugged? Edit: The mining facility resource gathering twice is also bugged, apparently....

Started the game, got an assignment, got sucked into a rift, attacked by some hostile and killed it. But now what do I do? Run back to Kite Station to complete the assignment? Kill more BEMs? Is the purple smudge on the map the same purple smudge that I saw travelling to Kite Station? Is there a manual somewhere that tells me what I should be doing, and the how on such things as scanning planets and using the tech points I have earned so far?...

So in the bad ending you travel into an alternate future in which every planet has been rendered into a green paradise filled with humans entertaining themselves with their steam libraries. Is that all their is? I traveled all over the place and all I found were more planets. Do you ever find anything if you search long enough? Like the rouge AI?...
